Brigid Maloney is an Undergraduate student at the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter, who has recently completed her Senior thesis assessing the reaction of wild bottlenose dolphins to small Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). She is also conducting observations of captive animals at the National Aquarium Her primary area of interest is in the cognitive capacities of bottlenose dolphins, she previously studied the population ecology of Long Island Bay Scallops at the Cornell Cooperative extension before attending college.
